Marking the 85th anniversary of the Battle of Kalamata

On the occasion of marking the 85th anniversary of the Battle of Kalamata, the Embassy of Serbia in Greece laid a wreath at the monument to the heroes of this battle and resistance to Nazism.
In the battles fought at the end of April 1941, Serbian soldiers, together with Allied forces, put up brave resistance to the German army, enabling the evacuation of a large number of Allied soldiers from Greece.
